ISITism Explains… Science

Science is one of the most ITistic concepts you can conceive of. The very word ‘science’ is based on the same root (sci) as words like scissors, scimitar and schism — all words that suggest splitting into parts, i.e. division. The scientific process involves breaking things down into their component parts, isolating variables and clearly defining the attributes of Objects, all very ITistic pursuits. And every bit of knowledge thus defined is stored along with all others in the body of scientific knowledge.
